Meet Your Board of Directors:
President: Sue “Bee” Mount
Sue “Bee” has been proudly serving as President of the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club since 2021—and she’s happy to keep the party going for the next couple of years! With boundless enthusiasm for the club and its members, she’s always ready to tackle presidential duties, whether it’s planning the next big Phlocking or making sure every Parrot Head feels right at home. If you haven’t met her yet, be sure to say hello at the next event, and she’ll be happy to chat about her many passions—including roller derby (former player), powerlifting (current beast), and, of course, music—the heartbeat of this club. Her motto? Always be yourself … and if you can’t be yourself … be a unicorn! 🦄✨
Vice President: Jen “JC” Caruso
Jen “JC” Caruso is the Vice President of the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, helping to “keep the party going” and making sure the good times never run aground! A true lover of Trop Rock, Yacht Rock, and all things Jimmy Buffett, she’s always on the lookout for new adventures and new phriends who share in the joy and positivity that Jimmy brought to the world. Whether she’s planning the next Parrot Head escapade, grooving to her favorite tunes, or chasing sunsets with a boat drink in hand, JC brings the perfect blend of island spirit and fun to everything she does!
Secretary: Cindy Goodale
Cindy Goodale is the Secretary of the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, keeping the club organized while making sure there’s always time for fun in the sun! A proud member since LAPHC’s founding in 1996—after spotting the crew at the Doo Dah Parade—she’s been hooked ever since, thanks to her first Buffett concert back in 1980 at Jack Murphy Stadium. Cindy and her husband, David, keep the Parrot Head spirit alive at home with their adventurous family, including 14-year-old twins, a couple of 30 something-year-old sons (one adopted—just in case you thought she always had them in pairs!), and a granddaughter. When she’s not busy camping, traveling, or enjoying live music, you can find her hosting the legendary annual LAPHC pool party every July—because nothing says Parrot Head like good friends, great music, and a perfect summer splash!
Treasurer: Melinda Kivinski
Melinda Kivinski has been a proud member of the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club since 2007 and has served as Treasurer for several years—making sure the club’s charitable spirit is backed by strong finances. Writing checks to the club’s charities is one of her favorite duties because helping others has always been close to her heart. When she’s not crunching numbers, Melinda is pounding the pavement, walking half marathons for a purpose, and enjoying every step with friends. She and her husband, Bill (yes, that guy who emails about Tiki All Stars), have three grown children, three wonderful grandchildren, and one Yorkshire terrier who still manages to keep her on her toes! Though tax season has her working 60-hour weeks instead of living the full-time Parrot Head life, she splits her time between California and her second home in Spokane—where she’s always dreaming of her next tropical escape. If you see her at a Phlocking, stop by and say hello—she’d love to meet you!
Co-Director of Membership: Sabrina Greenwood-Briggs
Sabrina Greenwood-Briggs has been a devoted Jimmy Buffett and Trop Rock fan since 1995, ever since she discovered his music while on vacation in the Bahamas—and she’s been living life one island song at a time ever since! Buffett’s music has shaped her outlook on life, her work philosophy, and even her dreams for the future, making her a perfect fit as Co-Director of Membership for the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club. Passionate about keeping the Parrot Head spirit alive, she loves welcoming new members, connecting with fellow fans, and making sure everyone feels at home in this fun-loving community. If you see her at a Phlocking, be sure to say hello—chances are, she’ll have a great story and a boat drink recommendation ready to go!
Co-Director of Membership: Anne Marie Wotkyns
Anne Marie Wotkyns is the Membership Co-Director of the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, where she keeps the flock together with a margarita in one hand and a membership list in the other. A lifelong Jimmy Buffett fan, she’s not just about the music—she once swam with sharks, danced barefoot on a bar in Key West, and can mix the perfect boat drink in under 30 seconds. Whether she’s organizing events, welcoming new Parrot Heads, or searching for that lost shaker of salt, Anne Marie brings tropical vibes and a whole lot of fun wherever she goes!
Co-Director of Events: Frances Nicolais
Frances Nicolais, Co-Director of Events for the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, has been a devoted Tropical Rock fan since the 1970s—and her love for the music is as strong as ever! Being part of LAPHC allows her to blend two of her greatest passions: great music and giving back to those in need, whether it’s helping animals, children, or those facing hardships from the mountains to the ocean. A self-proclaimed computer nerd since the ‘70s, she’s always ready to keep club events organized, up-to-date, and running smoothly so everyone can join in on the fun. Frances is excited to continue her role on the board and looks forward to seeing everyone at the next Phlocking—just don’t be surprised if she’s the one making sure every detail is in place!
Co-Director of Events: Mike “Bozz” Bosdet
Mike “Bozz” Bosdet is the Co-Director of Events for the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, making sure every gathering is a tropical adventure to remember. A master of island-time logistics, he’s orchestrated everything from epic beach parties to spontaneous conga lines that mysteriously keep going. When he’s not planning the next big Parrot Head bash, Bozz can be found strumming his guitar by the fire, sailing into the sunset, or telling legendary stories of the time he (allegedly) outdrank a pirate.
Director of Charities: Alisa Shniderman
Alisa Shniderman is the Director of Charities for the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, turning good times into good deeds with a tropical twist. Whether she’s organizing fundraising events, rallying Parrot Heads for volunteer projects, or making sure a conga line leads to a great cause, she brings passion and fun to every effort. When she’s not spreading Buffett-style generosity, Alisa might be rescuing sea turtles, perfecting her rum punch recipe, or secretly plotting to turn every event into a dance party!
Communications Director: Kim Kloezeman
Kim Klo is the Director of Communications for the Los Angeles Parrot Head Club, making sure every Parrot Head knows where the party is and what time the blender starts. Whether she’s crafting the perfect event announcement, decoding Buffett lyrics for hidden messages, or rallying the flock with a well-timed “Fins Up!,” she keeps the tropical vibes flowing. When she’s not spreading the good word, Kim might be found singing karaoke on a tiki bar stage, tracking down the world’s best cheeseburger, or plotting her next great escape to paradise!
